Workshop Facilitator: Oyindamola Sonola

At the 36th OMEP Conference, Oyindamola Sonola, an education consultant, trainer, and CEO of Soams Creative Education & Consultancy (SCEC), will facilitate a workshop titled “Sustainable Education Beyond the Academics: Exploring HighScope Research Validated Practices & Teaching Strategies.”

A passionate advocate for Sustainable Education, Oyindamola’s workshop will focus on using the HighScope Perry Preschool research to identify non-cognitive skills that support children’s success, particularly in disadvantaged contexts. Participants will reflect on strategies to enhance children’s holistic development, preparing them for academic and life success.

Her experience spans school setup, branding, curriculum development, and mentoring educators. As the first Nigerian HighScope endorsed trainer, Oyindamola has contributed significantly to OMEP Nigeria since 1988.
